National Assembly Speaker, Advocate Jacob Mudenda says legislative assemblies worldwide should strive to implement policies that promote co-existence, inclusivity and tolerance for the betterment of lives of the electorate. Advocate Mudenda was addressing the 146th Inter-Parliamentary Union (IPU) Assembly in Manama Bahrain yesterday.

The IPU provides a platform for global legislators to dialogue on how parliaments can effectively execute their mandate. 

The assembly is being held under the theme: “promoting peaceful coexistence and inclusive societies: fighting intolerance.
